Courage Is Scarcer Than Knowledge

Someone who has known me for many years once told me:

“The thing holding back your breakthrough isn’t your knowledge or your skills. It’s your lack of courage and boldness.”

How true that was.

Some of the most successful entrepreneurs I know think simply and live with positive energy.

If they want to do something, they do it.

If they want to ask for help, they ask for it.

If they want to invest in their own growth, they pay for it.

If they want to promote themselves, they promote themselves.

They don’t overthink. They move. They get results. And they’re happy because of it.

Meanwhile, some people, even those with elite-school backgrounds, overthink and over-plan. They calculate every trade-off, wonder whether the money is worth it, worry about how others will see them, and feel self-conscious about asking for help or promoting themselves.

So they’re slow to act. They miss out on real-world results and feedback. And they stay stuck.

There are many people with great ideas and great skills. There are far fewer willing to take risks, take action, and keep taking action.
