What Likes Don’t Tell You

Over the years, I’ve learned a few things about writing in public:

The time and effort I put into a post doesn’t necessarily match the number of likes it gets.

How much I personally like a post doesn’t match the number of likes either.

My predictions about which posts will do well are often wrong.

And the number of followers an account has doesn’t necessarily reflect the quality of its work.
