Writing Is Thinking

I can’t count how many times I’ve tried to put something into words, only to realize I didn’t understand it as well as I thought.

So I’d go back and spend a few more days learning, until I could explain it in simple words.

We don’t have to figure everything out before we start writing. Often, writing is how we figure things out in the first place.
